Timothy E. Parker
Guinness World Records Puzzle Master
Founder of Parker Smart Kids and the most syndicated puzzle compiler in history.
I have spent my career building puzzles, millions of them, solved by people in hundreds of publications around the world. Along the way Guinness World Records recognized me as the Puzzle Master for the sheer scale of what I have created. People sometimes assume that means editing puzzles, but the record is for building them, which is a different craft entirely: every good puzzle is a small machine for teaching a mind to reason.
Somewhere along the way I realized that the thing I had been doing for adults for decades, designing problems that quietly train pattern recognition, logic, and the patience to think a step ahead, was exactly what children were not getting enough of. They were being handed facts to memorize and screens engineered to keep them reacting, while the deeper skill, knowing how to think, was left to chance.
So I built Parker Smart Kids: 1,800 age-targeted lessons that turn reasoning into a 15-minute daily habit for children ages 8 to 16. Each one is a real-world scenario broken into decisions, scored across six thinking dimensions, ending in a portable thinking tool a child can carry into the rest of their life. It is the puzzle-maker's craft, redirected at the one thing that matters most: raising kids who can think clearly in a world built to think for them.

Frequently asked questions
Who is Timothy E. Parker?
Timothy E. Parker is the Guinness World Records Puzzle Master and the most syndicated puzzle compiler in history, with puzzles published across hundreds of outlets and millions of solvers. He created Parker Smart Kids to turn the reasoning skills behind great puzzles into a daily critical-thinking program for children ages 8 to 16.
What does the Guinness World Records title actually mean?
Guinness World Records formally recognized Timothy E. Parker for the scale and reach of the puzzles he has created and edited. It is a record for building puzzles at a level no one else has matched, which is different from simply editing them, and it is the credential behind the reasoning method Parker Smart Kids is built on.
Why did a puzzle master build a critical-thinking program for kids?
A great puzzle is really a small reasoning workout: it teaches you to spot patterns, test ideas, and think a few steps ahead. Timothy built Parker Smart Kids to give children that same daily workout in a structured form, with 1,800 age-targeted lessons that score six different thinking skills.
Does Timothy E. Parker write the lessons himself?
The Parker Smart Kids method, structure, and standards come directly from Timothy E. Parker, and the program carries his name and reputation. Every lesson is built to the reasoning bar he set as a Guinness World Records Puzzle Master.
